Cannot add a Section / Existing pages cannot be edited!

Hi, I recently update an existing website (built in May 19) to Cornerstone to 4.0.4 and X-Theme 7.0.4. When I go into a page I can no longer edit it! I also cannot add Sections or Rows to a new page. Anyone know why?

Thank you for writing in, please make sure that you’re on the latest version of WordPress as well (v5.2.3).

Updating WordPress

Remember to clear all your caching features (plugin, server-side, CDN, and browser’s cache) after updating so that the code from the latest release is always in use. This will help you to avoid any potential errors.

Provide us login credentials in a secure note if the issue persists.

Quick update, I swapped back from the child them to the main theme and its back working. So all good now

Hey Avalancher,

We’re glad that you’ve found the cause of the issue. There’s probably something wrong with a custom code in your child theme. You’ll need to consult with a developer if you wish to continue using the custom code.
