Can you use a custom field to allow user to set an individual post background with a color or a background image on repeat?

I have a client that would like to choose per post what the color of their background is or sometimes upload a background image that could be repeated.

Is this possible?

Yes, this is doable but this would require customization. Regretfully, customization is outside the scope of our theme support. You may seek 3rd party developers to help you with your problems or you can avail One where we can answer questions outside of the features of our theme.
