Can you modify cornerstone recent posts with a child theme?

[fullboost88]

Hello

My developer has made changes to this page

wp-content/plugins/cornerstone/includes/shortcodes/recent-posts.php

in order for us to achieve the layout/look our client wanted. It is for the recent posts.

The problem is, is that if we update the cornerstone plugin, it wipes our modification.

Is it possible to use a child theme and add in this modification or are recent posts solely contained to cornerstone?

Is there a possible way to adjust this code?

Thanks

Hi There,

Thanks for writing in! Regretfully we do not support modification to any Cornerstone element. It could be possible with custom development, but this would be outside the scope of support we can offer. You may wish to consult a developer to assist you with this. X is quite extensible with child themes, so there are plenty of possibilities.

Thanks for understanding.
