Can I show Portfolio items with the new Posts element?

Hi! I’m looking for a way to dynamically pull Portfolio items of a certain category on a page. Before I would use the Classic Recent Posts element but now it doesn’t give the option to show Portfolio items anymore. I love the look of the new “Posts” element. Does it work with Portfolio at all? Can I filter posts shown by category, with the “Posts” element? Or what would you recommend as a solution?

Thanks for writing to us.

To display the Portfolio post items you can use our new Posts Element. Please follow these steps to display Portfolio.

1. Insert Posts element
2. Click on the Customize button.
3. Click on the Looper Provider
4. Select Type as “Query Builder”
5. Select Posts as “Portfolio Item”
6. Select Taxonomies for the category in case if you want to filter the post by category.
