Can I link MEC 'event details' to Pro pages?

Hi,

On this site - https://sundayfolk.nl - I have used MEC Events Calendar. Because the structure and styling of the single events is very limited I have the events themselves made up out of the regular events set-up and then have the event page made in Pro. So what you have to do now is first fill in the data of the event in the single event back-end, save it and then go to ‘edit with Pro’ to give the page some resemblance of design.

Is it possible to have the MEC Events Calendar point to regular pages (that I can design fully in Pro)? Never mind the various MEC-specific features since the website has at most 12 events a year.

Thanks for writing in! Regretfully there isn’t an option in the MEC plugin and in Pro theme that you can redirect the events to a normal page. You may need 3rd party plugin to handle the redirection of the event page to the Normal Pro page. Not sure if you understood my pquestion correctly. The plug-ins you refer to deal with http- redirection which is not exactly what I mean.

You can add your regular pro page link under events links.

Pfff, completely overlooked that option! It still requires both an event-post and a page but at least I can design my events like I want to.
