I am using X Theme with Integrity child theme. I have enabled the search bar in my header menu, but recently realized it is only searching post titles. Is there a way to customize the .php to include tags assigned to each post to show up on the results page?

The theme uses WordPress default search functionality with just styled results. By default, WordPress search function can search title or post content only. If you want to extend the functionality to include post’s tags, comments, categories and custom fields, many plugins are available to achieve that. For example “Relevanssi”.
