Hi, I have a blog listing page that is using excerpts from the post in the post thumbnails.
On the post page, there is a page title in the editor, which does not appear on the page displayed to the user.
I have added my own h1 element at the top of the page to serve as a title to the user instead.
Then I have added text in paragraphs under that.
On the thumbnail in the listing page, the Page Title from the editor is showing as the title in the thumbnail. This is fine.
However in the excerpt text, the h1 text I added and the paragraph text are both showing.
Can I manipulate what text shows in the except? Can I make it ignore the h1 text?
And, how do I make the excerpt shorter? It currently shows quite a lot of text.
