Have searched the forum and have seen a few topics briefly cover this, but they don’t seem to be in the layout editor rather it’s just editing normal buttons with the buy now shortcode and replacing the item ID.
I’d like for all the pages to have the same layout - where one button is a Buy Now, which when you click takes them right to the checkout with the item, and one like it normally has with which is an add to cart button.
I can’t seem to find an element for it and I can’t figure out how to modify the add to cart button to redirect to checkout immediately after adding it, Hope you can help.
Also noticed certain plugins won’t work with the X Layouts - for example, the Pre-Sales won’t show up automatically on the buy now button, are there any plans to support this?
For the time being, is the best course of action to create specific layouts for the items that are on pre-order?
Also is it possible to edit the Cart and Post-checkout page with X?
I’d like to clarify first that X does not have the Layout Builder. I believe you’re referring to Pro. Please clarify this so we avoid confusion.
Regarding the Add to Cart button, regretfully, WooCommerce does not have the feature you need out of the box. Because of this, there is no element to accomplish what you need so you might want to consult a WooCommerce developer to create a custom code for you or maybe you can find a 3rd party plugin. Regretfully, we have no recommendations for both.
Regarding if it’s possible to edit the Cart and Checkout page in X, regretfully, it’s not possible. If you’re referring to Pro Layout Builder, it’s possible.
