Button Top Padding Different on Two Different Devices

My client informed me that they are seeing a lot of top padding on the buttons on the site.

This is what they are seeing. They are viewing the site on Chrome on a desktop. See the Download Menu button.

The weird thing is when I view the same page, on Chrome, on a Desktop device. The ‘Download Menu’ top padding looks fine.

Here is the page: https://redheattavern.wpengine.com/locations/

Is there some reason why he’d be seeing more padding for the buttons on his screen then I do on mine?

Hello @santosfel5,

I have just checked the page on some major browsers and I can’t see the issue that you mentioned:

Perhaps your client is using an outdated browser. Would you mind letting us know what browser and the version that your client is using?

Let us know how it goes.

My client says they are viewing the site on Chrome Version 81.0.4044.129 (Official Build) (64-bit)

Hello @santosfel5,

I am another staff member checking the page in MacOS with the same Chrome version. I am seeing the same spacing of button just like @Jade’s screenshot. Your client maybe using a touch enabled laptop screen or a different operating system. Can you please ask your client to send a screenshot so that we can compare because your screenshot is same as what we are seeing.

Regards.

Hi @ruenel

Here is a screenshot of what the client is seeing.

There is more padding on the top of the button then the bottom.

Hey @santosfel5,

Thank you for the screenshot. I could replicate the issue on my end. Upon checking the top and bottom padding given to the button element is different (see screenshot below) the button has the 0.575 em top padding while the bottom padding is only 0.3 em

To fix this, simply go to button’s settings in Cornerstone, under Padding settings, set the same Top and Bottom padding values:

Cheers!
