What did I wrong??

Thank you for the help!

Hi Marcela,

Thanks for reaching out.
By default the PDF files open in the Browser. Instead of that, to download the PDF file you need to add the PDF file URL into the download attribute and remove the file URL from the Button > Link > URL.

Copy the file URL from Media:

Add the URL to download attribute of the Button element:

Hope it helps.
Thanks

Thank you, I did as you said, and it`s still not working…

Hey Marcela,

I tried to solution I posted in the previous thread and it is working fine on my end. Would you mind sharing your admin credentials so that we can check your PDF link properly? To do that, please give us the following information in a Secure Note.

  • WordPress Login URL
  • Admin level username and password

You can find the Secure Note button at the bottom of your posts.

Thank you.

Hi Marcela,

I have investigated the Button elements and found that the URL attribute is blank. I have added a test text as a URL to all the Button elements and it starts working.

Thank you! The URL must be in both attributes, now it works!

Best regards and a nice evening!
