how can i make the button on the home page mobile first section have straight edges and make the button larger?

You can make use of the classic button and select the square button.
If you have use the v2 button element, please make sure that there is no border radius or it is set to zero which you can find in the button settings. Making it bigger can be done by adjusting the paddings and the font size of the text of the button.
