Button Link Not Working -- URL is From Another Website

Hello,

I created a button and then added a URL from another website. The link is not working. What could possibly be wrong?

Step 1
I went to the website I wanted to link to

Step 2
I highlighted the URL from that other website and copied the URL

Step 3
I pasted that URL into the URL line in the Link Box on the page I was working on.

Step 4
Clicked save

Found the problem! The link from the other website is no longer valid.
