Button element in Cornerstone to navigate to a specific section - not working

Hi there

The Button element in Cornerstone to navigate to a specific section of the page isnt working

Before using the Button Element, i had a Text Element with the code <a href="#x-section-2" class="x-slider-scroll-bottom above bottom center">[icon type="angle-down"]</a> which worked perfectly, although I noticed today that it stopped working, it wouldn’t move to section 2 of my page.

Therefore I found that I could use the Button element to do the same thing, however this is also not working.

What I also did was give that section an ID (revWhatIDo) and placed it in the URL field of the Button Element, previously I had placed #x-section-2. Neither worked.

Please let me know if you need anymore information.

Thanks for writing in!

I tested the button element with section link and it works fine in my setup. There might be some kind of plugin or javascript conflict is happening in your setup.

If you can send us your website details we can check it for you.
Please provide following information:
Set it as Secure Note

  • Link to your site
  • WordPress Admin username / password

Can you point us the section or page where you have added the Button element?

Seems I didn’t find it in the home page.

It’s on the homepage just as you open the page, first section, bottom-middle of the screen.

Actually, today it started working after I applied another theme update! There’s been a couple of theme updates this week and I was made aware through some forums that there had been some bug fixes made.
