Button background colors not showing

Hi There,

I have tried making a button with a background color and an interaction color. When I make the button in a new container, the background shows up, but when I make it an element in a container I already have, the background color is just transparent. I’ve checked the button settings and they are identical so I don’t know why this his happening. Thanks for your help!

Stephanie

Hi Stephanie,

Thanks for reaching out.

May I know the background color of the container you already have? And the button background color? Please provide a sample URL that has this issue and I’ll check what’s going on.

Thanks!

There is no background color, but there is an image on the background layer. The url is: https://stephspencer.me/ . If you scroll down it will be “Meet Steph”. Right now I have the button background set to blue (which you can’t see) and the interaction as yellow (again, can’t see this). I made the text for each the same colors so I could at least see it for now.

Hi @stephspencer,

Please share us with your admin account so we can take a closer look.

Thank you

I’ll share it in a secure note. Thanks for looking!

Hi Stephanie,

It appears to be being compressed of the container due to limiting dimension, I moved it on another container and it works. If you wish to retain is position then please decrease the padding size of the container, or increase the header bar’s height. Or perhaps, make the header bar auto instead of 50em.

Thanks!

Thank you! I didn’t realize the height issue, so I moved the header bar to auto instead and now it sits where I want it. Thanks for your help!

You’re welcome!
We’re glad @Rad were able to help you out.
