Burger on top (z-index)

Hello there,

on my mobile view, I’d like to set the z-index for the burger in the menu bar. My goal is, when the mobile menu collapses, the burger from the sticky bar should remain on top. This burger already has a nice animation, so I’d like to use that X instead of the one included in the collapsed menu.

The Sticky bar itself should not be visible in the collapsed menu, just the burger.
I played around with the z-index values, but somehow it didn’t worked.

Thanks for your help!

Hi @xoa,

Unfortunately, what you are expecting is not possible in the usual way, and you need to add some complex custom CSS code. I would suggest you hire a developer who can assist you to do the customization, or you can avail of our newly launched service called One, where we answer questions beyond normal theme support.

Thanks

Too bad that thats not possible here. :frowning:
Is there no workaround or something similar? Maybe with a second transparent stickybar on top just with the burger?

For now I found a solution by myself. I added a second Sticky bar. I played around with a few setting and set a negative margin to move the container of the second sticky bar up.

If you like, you can take a look and tell me if that works. It’S maybe not the cleanest solution, but for me it does the job.

Hey @xoa,

That’s great and we’re glad that you’re able to find a solution to your issue.

Cheers!
