Burger Menu Won't Work

Hey there,

My mobile menu is not working on this site https://k9lrng.com/about/

Nothing happens when you click the burger.

Any idea why that is?

Thanks,
Ann

Hello @fikasem,

Thanks for writing in!

It seems your burger mobile menu is working fine. Click to view Screencast.

Can you clarify this on your end? Please don’t forget to clear your browser cache.

Thank you.

Hi there
I have the same problem the burger menu is clickable but on click it doesnt show the menu content on ios phones https://www.rueckenwelt.com
On a pc the burger menu works (with browser size reduced to phone size)
I already disabled all plugins to check if there is a problem from some plugin but no, it doesnt work
Testet on Safari and Chrome

Hello @AlexanderGo,

Thanks for writing in!

I’ve checked it on iPhone5s and it’s working fine. That includes the items on the submenu. Can you confirm it on your end?

It would be best if you create another thread for this issue so we can give you the support that you need.

Thank you.

Hey @jumar,

Thanks for checking! It is still not working on my laptop. I cleared the cache too and nothing happened. If I look on my phone it is working just fine. Super strange! I can see that I clicked the burger menu but it won’t open the actual menu.

Hello there,

That’s really weird. May I know what browser have you opened your site?

Can you also provide the following details in a secure note? Just in case we need to dig deeper on this issue.

  • Wordpress admin username/password

Thank you.

Safari and Chrome.

Best,
Ann

Hi There,

On This specific page you are using a classic header while on other pages (like home page) you are using the header builder + on this page you are using the new footer builder.

This mix might be causing the issue.

Please create a new header for this page on the header builder and assign to it.

Let us know how it goes

Thanks!

I only wanted a different header on the homepage, that’s why I kept the standard one on all other pages. Went ahead and updated to header builder + on the entire site so it is working now. You would think it should work the other way too though I guess.

Thanks for the help!

You’re welcome, Ann. In my test site, the Pro burger menu works in the home page and the Classic Header burger menu works for the rest of the pages. Not sure what caused the issue on your end. It could be a plugin conflict or you might have a custom code affecting the burger menu.

Thanks.

That could be the case.

It’s good as is for now. Thanks so much for your help!

Best,
Ann
