Hi, I somehow misconfigured my site to display post titles as h2 instead of h1 (so I don’t have any h1 tags!). I understand that I can just change the SIZE of h1 tags to be smaller in order to achieve the effect that I want once I can change everything to h1.
Where can I change all of my post titles on my main page to h1 headers and then just adjust the size to be smaller like my h2 headers? I can’t find anything in my custom CSS that is affecting this.

Posts title are already applied as H1, would you mind providing a sample where post titles are set to h2? If you’re referring to blog index page (post listing) then it’s just normal to have h2 for post title since h1 should be added once only where h2 can be multiple.
