Building layout with image spread across 2 rows and 1 column

Hello, I would like to create a layout like the image posted here. I am having difficulty allowing the image on the right to exist in two rows while the other blocks exist in only one.

I am considering using Essential Grid, The Grid, or Slider Revolution, but would most like to keep it simple with pure rows and columns with text and image elements from Cornerstone.

Your suggestions for the best method of tacking this is very much appreciated!

I am using X Theme with Renew and Cornestone.

Hi @joshemglass

Thanks for writing in.

Yes it could be achieve by using the custom column of a section adding the elements that you want to use for each column.

To manage your column layout, click a section then

After creating a column, you can now add the element that needed to be added.

Hope it helps.

Let us know how it goes.

Thanks.

The problem with this method is that the far right image crosses over both rows, while all the other content remains within one row.

Hi there,

Yes, it’s columns limitation, it’s the same reason why masonry layout is different than standard columns (as masonry re-order itself and respond). Perhaps, what you need is a custom made content that has its own responsive feature and you’ll need to consult to a developer.

I also tried it on my end and it’s a bit hard to achieve due to the order of columns and stacking on smaller devices. How about creating it in a slider? Then have two sliders, one for desktop and one for mobile and both have different layout.

Thanks!
