Builder sometimes freezes when responsive styles panel is being used

Hi there,

Every now and then the builder will freeze while using the responsive styles panel. It can be on any of the style settings but always happens when one of these panels are visible. I’m not sure if button clicks or keyboard presses lock it up but too much of something locks up the whole builder – you can’t close the panel or click outside the panel. I frantically go for the Save button but the document can’t be saved. An entire page refresh is the only way to clear the issue and thus whatever was done since the last save will be lost. This has been an ongoing issue for a long time and I’m wondering if it just happens to me or do others experience this too?

Thanks for writing to us.

I tested this on a local site with WordPress 7.1.4, Pro 6.9.8, and Chrome 156.0.8078.73, and could not reproduce the issue—it works fine on my end. Please check if any browser extensions are blocking JavaScript or CSS assets, and clear your browser cache (or test in Incognito mode) before checking again.

Hi,

It happens to me sometimes too, across different responsive views, but not consistently.

When it happens, I have to press Cmd + S to save my changes and then refresh the page to regain control of the builder.
