Hi guys,
I think I found a bug with the headline element. When you have text on dark background, and headline tag is set to p, you are unable to change text color to white. It remains grey.
When you change tag to any H1,2,3 then color change works fine.
In fact, you can see text changing to white in the preview, but it doesn’t show on the page.
Hope you understand what I mean?

I checked that on my local installation and could not recreate the issue that you have described. I added a section with dark background and added the headline element and set it to use p tag and set the color of it to white and it worked as expected:
It seems that there is an additional CSS on your installation that overrides the normal flow of the element while using the p tag.
Please change your Child Theme to the parent theme if you use one and remove all custom CSS that you might have added and test the website.

I just checked, I don’t have any custom CSS that will overwrite this style, and changing to main Theme doesn’t change it. Cache cleared etc.
The strange thing is, I can see it in the preview editor, but not when page is viewed normally.

I have tried it in my local setup and I was able to replicate the issue that you mentioned. I have added this to our Issue Tracker so that our developers will be aware of it.
For the meantime, kindly avoid wrapping the text in <p> tag is you have set the base tag setting to p.
