Bug Report: Tooltip Iphone Hover State (Reported Last Year)

I reported a bug with the tooltip functionality on iphone last year.

The tooltip stays open, even if the user taps outside the tooltip on iPhone Devices (and presumably other iOS devices)

This is a major functionality issue as our tooltips are quite big and if they cannot be closed, they make our site unusable.

Please provide a solution ASAP.

Thanks for reaching out.

I just tried and couldn’t repeat it from my iOS device or Android device. Perhaps you could provide a video recording? I checked out the list and none is reported yet related to this. Please provide the old thread you’re referring.

using safari on latest iOS on Iphone 7.

I tap to open the tooltip.

I tap anywhere else on the screen and the tooltip doesnt close.

Thanks for the screenshot!
I can confirm the issue on my side. I test in iPhone 6 and the tool tip only closes when tap on other other tool tip not outside.

I will report this in our bug tracker for a fix.
