Dear Team,
if X and Cornerstone are installed on a site running Affiliate Butler Pro Version 2.1.18 | WPRuby there is one issue (for a long time already):
Normally you can Autolink keywords to a URL using ABP. On some Pages you do not want to use it and have the option to “Disable ABP” on the page settings. This works fine.
However, if you edit an Cornerstone Page and save it, the “Disable ABP” is gone, and it is enabled again.
Hence you have to disable it again, save and you are back to normal.
At the same time, if the page is build with any other pagebuilder e.g. Thrive Architect, this does not happen. The setting of ABP is intact.
It would be great if this could be fixed, as not all admins know about it and it can mess up pages with links because of the settings change.
All the best,
Matt
Hi Matt,
Thanks for reaching out.
There might be a few different reasons for this issue, I would suggest you troubleshoot with a few of the common issues:
Please let us know if the issue still exists, we will investigate to check whether the X or Cornerstone is the really the reason behind the issue.
Therefore, we can’t guarantee a fix but we’ll post this case to the issue tracker, so this issue will be queued for investigation by our development team.
To investigate it further, please provide login credentials for your site in a secure note to examine it further, including:
– WordPress Site URL & Login URL
– WordPress Admin username/password
To create a secure note, click the key icon underneath any of your posts.
Thanks
Thank you Tristup,
we have already extensively tested it on various sites.
We do not see a plugin conflict as such, also not a CSS customization issue.
Other templates do not overwrite the setting on saving. Its just Cornerstone pages, where it happens.
As only the most important sites run the autolinker I can not give you access as of now to those sites. Template changes are not possible there (as live/seminars) and also no plugin deactivations.
Still I thought to report our findings for the issue tracker,
all the best,
Matt
Ps. you can close the ticket.
Hi Matt,
You are most welcome. I will surely check with your findings and will try to replicate the issue on our end, and will report if anything is found.
Thanks
