Bug: Pro inspector covering page after leaving full screen mode

I’ve been noticing this bug for a while now, where after leaving Pro’s full screen mode (cmd + shift + A) when the inspector on the right comes back, it will be covering up the preview of the page. As if the page didn’t resize to fit the preview window again.

The way that I found to make it go back to normal without reloading the page is to begin to resize the window by dragging the right side in. Then the preview starts to fit the preview again like it should.

It’s hard to immediately reproduce this issue because it doesn’t happen every time. Only sometimes, but for me who uses the full screen shortcut a lot to see how the page looks without the builder, I end up seeing this bug a lot. I’ve seen this happen since before v6 came out and I’ve seen it on 2 completely different websites.

Here’s a video that I started recording after it happened, and you can see the inspector sitting over top of the page then me resizing the window to “fix” it.

Hi @threeoten,

Thanks for reaching out.
I have checked the video and tried the same in my local environment, but unfortunately, didn’t find the problem. Although it is not replicable at our end, I am reporting this to our development team to look into it.

Thanks

It doesn’t happen every time. For me I have to be working on a page for a bit, make some changes and eventually it happens. You have to use the full screen shortcut often while working (cmd + shift + A) and it will happen.

Hi @threeoten,

I have checked by (cmd + shift + A) but didn’t find the issue even after working for some time. Can you please check the same on a different computer and let us know if you are facing the same issue?

Thanks

Yes, still happens, and on more than one site/install
