BUG: [Pro 6.7.5] Responsive Color Pickers - Higher breakpoint interaction state overrides lower breakpoints

Hi,

Bug found over here! :space_invader:

On any element, setting an interaction color on a higher breakpoint overrides the lower breakpoints when the lower breakpoints’ base and interaction color are the same (i.e. linked). Demo video in secure note.

This affects all elements with a color-pair picker (i.e. base and interaction colors).

Hope that helps.

Pro 6.7.5.

Hello @boomfly,

Thanks for writing to us.

I reviewed the screen recording you shared and followed the same steps on my local test installations. However, I wasn’t able to replicate the issue on my end. I tested it with Pro theme version 6.7.5, WordPress version 6.8.3, and Google Chrome version 140.0.7339.215. The problem might be related to your browser cache or a browser extension preventing some JS/CSS files from loading.

Please try the following steps:

Clear your browser cache.

Go to Cornerstone -> Settings -> Cache -> Clear Cache, and then check again.

Hope it helps
Thanks

Hey @prakash_s,
Thanks for your response but you’ve missed the bit where the bug occurs. It’s when the lower breakpoints’ base and interaction color are the same (i.e. linked).
You’ll see in the video at 35 seconds that the same color is picked for the base and interaction on the lower breakpoints but this is being overrided by the higher breakpoint interaction color.

Hello @boomfly,

I was able to replicate the issue on my end, and it appears to be related to the latest release. I’ve already added this to our issue tracker so our development team can investigate further. Please keep an eye on upcoming theme updates, where a fix will likely be included.

Thank you for your understanding
