Bug in MEC Calendar - Masonry View - Events with multiple categories not showing

Bug with MEC Calendar: “Filter by Category” in Masonry view does not work when multiple categories selected. If multiple selected then no events show up under either filter category.

I reported this to the MEC support team but they are asking for a Pro license. Do I need to buy license? I thought MEC Pro was packaged with your theme? How do you handle this situation? Do you need to coordinate with the plugin developer?

Also, I’m not the only one who has reported this to MEC support. it appears to be a legit bug with latest version of their plugin. Here is the ticket i submitted: https://webnus.ticksy.com/ticket/2022850

Hey Brad,

I’m using the 4.2.3 version, the latest version of Modern Events Calendar, Masonry View and Filter by Category and I have replicated the issue so it’s highly likely that it’s really a bug on their end.

Because MEC is bundled in our theme, what we can do here is report this to the Webnus and because it is a bug on their part, they would need to release a fix on their next version. The next version then will be tested for compatibility with our theme and then we can release it.

We handled support for MEC since it is bundled in our theme. The support includes plugin usage help and bug reports like this case.

“Thank you for sharing it with us. We do appreciate your consideration.I redirect it to the developer team and we would fix it immediately, and would fix it in the next updates. There is nothing to be worried about.” This was two weeks ago.
