[BUG] Content Builder Toolbar Does Not Scroll on iPadOS Using a Trackpad Or Mouse

Title mostly says it, the iPad Pro recently gained a cursor and with it Bluetooth mice and hardware trackpads. This makes it perfect for editing and creating websites with X. However, I’ve run into an issue wherein scrolling using the cursor does not work in the X Pro content editor toolbar, only scrolling with touch works.

I’m not sure if this is a bug with iOS’s WebKit implementation or a bug with X Pro but I figured I’d start here.

I’m willing to help out in any way I can to solve this bug. As of writing, I’m using Safari on iPadOS 13.5.1, Pro 3.2.3, Wordpress 5.4.1. Other browsers also exhibit this behavior, though that is unsurprising as they all use iOS WebKit.

Hi @tcochran07,

We would love to help you on the issue, but the problem is that you are using a very rare setup although it might gain traction in the future but we do not have the setup at the moment to be able to test the hardware and see what is the problem cause and if it is something related to your setup or there are other iPad pro devices with the mouse that has the same issue.

At the moment, the only thing that we can ask is to find another person with a setup like yours and see if this is the problem related to your use case or something related to the iPad Pro and the mouse.

Thanks for your reply Christopher, I understand my setup is a bit unique :slight_smile:

If any of your team happen to have an iPad, any iPad that runs the latest iPadOS should have cursor support, just connect a Bluetooth mouse to check it out.

Hey @tcochran07,

Regretfully, even if some of us have that, the bigger concern is support for such a setup. There are currently only a few people use that and the development required to support that might be huge.

With that said, I’ll post this as a feature request so this will be taken into account for future developments if demand for such a feature is great.
