Hello - this has been covered before in this forum before, but i will need to know when the 403 error for BuddyPress comments will be fixed. We have purchased the Pro theme & want to use BP, but not being able to comment on anything will kill the project. I have enabled debugging and checked all the logs but i cannot track down this issue. Your engineers/designers are better equipped to fix this issue. Considering it is a critical feature on one of your selling points that the theme is compatible with BP, I would think that it would be a high priority. Thank you.
Follow-up to this issue: I installed MediaPress plugin to allow photos & video uploads to be part of the BP posts. When i open an image, it gives me the option of creating comments there. This works. So users can add comments via the image view modal popup, but not on the actual activity page. The POST action for the image popup is ‘mpp_add_reply’, as opposed to the activity page comment POST action ‘new_activity_comment’.

Thanks for writing in! This issue is still on going. I have forwarded this thread to our developers for a follow up and they may give us update on the issue. I cannot guarantee any fix at the moment, rest assured that our developers is looking into the issue and hopefully they can give us a timeline for the fix.

This issue has been ongoing for a very long time. You advertise that the theme is “integrated” and compatible with BuddyPress, but a critical feature of BP does not even work. We also have confirmed that BP works properly when the site is switched to a different theme. Without any concrete sense of timing on when the issue will actually be resolved (if ever), we will be forced to request a full refund and advise all colleagues and customers to avoid Theme.co.
