Buddy Press: Seriously missing something!

I am using “X” with the church demo installed. I have my WP site setup as multi-site. SO far everything works as expected. I have Buddy Press setup as a network site, so one logon gets you access to the whole thing.

My problem is with Buddy Press registration. If I am logged into the site and I click register I get a really nice registration screen, but I would like to add some more fields to the registration form. I cannot find where I can add more fields. I have opened all pages and settings associated with Buddy Press and I have done the same thing for pages not belonging to Buddy Press. They can’t be found or at least I can’t find it.

The other weird anomaly I I am having is I cannot open the register or activate page with Cornerstone. So I delete the pages and recreated them. I can open them with Cornerstone. Once I attach them to the Buddy Press links, I can no longer use Cornerstone.

Anyone experience anything like this and have any solutions? Or does anyone have some advice about this issue? I just want to some more fields to my registration.

How do I remove a post I created?

I found my answer. You have to be sure you access the network user section to add fields to the registration form.

As to why Cornerstone no longer works with the pages, I don’t know, but I have at least have the registration updated.

One more question for you. Like I said I did get my registration form to work out with the new fields. But when I go to my registration page the description shows up twice under the individual fields. I did some digging online this morning hoping to find an answer. The one suggestion was to change to another theme for verification. I changed to the Twenty Seventeen theme and the doubling of the description does not occur. From what I have read this points to a theme issue.

Any ideas on how to correct this issue?
