How can I remove the circular bubble around text on the main header menu?

I am not quite sure what you meant by circular bubble around text. Can you please elaborate? If you are referring to the hover effect and wish to remove the same, then please add following CSS under X > Theme Options > CSS:

.x-navbar .desktop .x-nav>.x-active>a>span, .x-navbar .desktop .x-nav>.current-menu-item>a>span {
    border: 0;
}

.x-navbar .desktop .x-nav>li>a:hover>span {
    border: 0 !important;
}

Thank you for your help, and the informative video.

I have applied the CSS you provided, and it appears to have worked - but has now created a problem where on mouse-over, the menu text jumps to the left slightly. Is there a way to remove this?
