Broken website, fatal error

Hello, I receive the following error on my website.
I am in contact with Wordpress support. Every time I try to activate the X theme, m y admin in Wordpress crashes. Could you assist?

Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 2147483648 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 8192 bytes) in /customers/5/3/0/ergowind.nl/httpd.www/wp-includes/class-wp-dependencies.php on line 260

Hello @mike15ael,

Thanks for writing in! The error means that you have exhausted your allowed PHP memory limit. You will have to increase it to at least 128MB or 256 MB. Kindly check out this documentation:

Kindly let us know how it goes.

Hello Ruenel,
I allocated 512MB memory in my website php and the Wordpress php
, but still no solution. The problem might be that I didn’t update the theme for a while. Right now my Wordpress is completely blocked. The error I get is
Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 2147483648 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 20480 bytes) in /customers/5/3/0/ergowind.nl/httpd.www/wp-includes/class-wp-hook.php on line 329

However, there is no option in this file. See picture below:

Hi @mike15ael,

It seems to be a problem with the versions of WordPress, PHP, and the X you are using. I would suggest you update the X to its latest version and the PHP version to 8.0. If that is already updated, please copy your live site to a staging server so we can troubleshoot freely without breaking your live site.
And give us access in the secure note including:

– WordPress Site URL & Login URL
– WordPress Admin username/password
– FTP/CPanel to access the files.

To create a secure note, click the key icon underneath any of your posts.

Thanks

could you please provide instruction how to update the X? I cannot access the Wordpress my admin right now, see below what I get in my control panel

Hi @mike15ael,

If you are not able to access the WordPress admin, you can update the X through the FTP. Download the latest version of the theme from your Themeco Account, and then upload it manually to the wp-content/themes folder. Please delete the previous versions before doing it.
I would also suggest you update the PHP version before it.

Thanks

Hello,
The X theme and the PHP are now updated. I have created also a staging site. Please let me know what you need for further troubleshoot

Hello @mike15ael,

It seems that you have given the hosting login URL please note you need to share the FTP login details or the cpanel login details so that we can access the WordPress files.

Thanks

please see enclosed

Hello @mike15ael,

I was able to log in to your site. The X theme and the Cornerstone plugin are activated already. I am not seeing any more issues. The builder now loads as well.

Please check your site now as the issue has been resolved already.

Cheers.
