Broken post page layout

Hi, I’ve just started using X as a theme for my new blog.

After posting my first article I noticed that the blog post page itself has a completely messed layout.
I haven’t touched the CSS yet or added any plugins.
Installed version is 6.4.5
Wordpress 5.0.2

Ok the problem seems to be due to the way the new Gutenberg editor handles links with images. By making sure to convert the link to html the problem seems to be solved
