Broken Homepage Display in Safari

Hi All,

I have recently upgraded Cornerstone on one of my two sites to 3.1.6 and it seems that the homepage has now been corrupted when viewed in Safari. Below screencast shows an iPad view with Safari in the top half (not OK) and Chrome in the bottom half (OK):

Any ideas how I can fix this? My second website is on Cornerstone 3.0.4 and its homepage is fine on Safari which makes me think it has something to do with this update.

Please support ASAP as I am trying to attract business through this website :frowning_face:

Hi Simon,

Upon checking your website I could see that the X theme isn’t updated yet.

Could you please update X theme to the latest version as well?

It is shown as updated to 6.1.6 already…what did you find that suggests it was not updated? Please advise…thanks

Hello Simon,

You are having a caching issue. Since you have installed a caching plugin W3 Total Cache, please clear your plugin cache before testing your site. This can cause the changes to not take place on the front end. It will eventually show up when the cache regenerates, but it’s not ideal if you’re looking to see your changes immediately.

I also found out that you are hosted with BlueHost. This might have the Endurance Page cache turn ON. Please clear the cache of this feature as well. You can temporarily turn off Endurance Page cache in Settings > General > Endurance Page Cache.

I checked and I do not have the Endurance Cache turned on (I actually have no reference to it anywhere).

I did find this cache reference through WP (Plug Ins/Drop In):

And also found this in my wp-content directory:

Anything to worry about?

When I access via https://www.theexecadministrator.com/?nocache=true it seems OK…so I think you are on to something here :slight_smile:

Please let me know how I can clear the current(?) non W3 cache(s)…thank you

Hello Simon,

Your cache has been deleted and regenerated already. The latest version of the theme and Cornerstone has been displayed correctly.

No need to worry anything about it.
