Breadcrumb problem

hi there, me again

i have a breadcrumb problem:

i made a menü with MAIN1 and subsites SUB1,SUB2,SUB3,SUB4
i added the bradcrumb in the site. when i navigate trough the main menu all is ok : HOME>MAIN1; HOME>MAIN2,…

when i navigate through the sub sites (MAIN1>SUB1) it shows: HOME>SUB1, but it should be HOME>MAIN1>SUB1

how can i solve this?

Thanks for reaching out.

The breadcrumb is not based on menu hierarchy, it’s based on actual page’s parent-child relationship. And it’s Wordpress standard, the menu is just a visual navigation.

Please check this https://www.jezweb.info/change-parent-page/ and arrange your page’s parent and child setup.
