Breadcrumb path changes unexpectedly after saving a new page as Draft

Hi,

I believe I’ve found a breadcrumb-related issue that occurs when working with Cornerstone.

Summary

After creating a page draft, the breadcrumb path on an existing page changes unexpectedly. The change happens without publishing—simply saving a newly created page as a Draft is enough to trigger it.

Example breadcrumb path (English):

Home → Posts → Latest

URL of page with affected breadcrumbs is domain.com/category/aktuality/, which is default wordpress page for posts/category

After I create a new page and click Save Draft (keeping it as a draft, not published), the breadcrumb path changes (parts of the path appear to be renamed/rewritten).

Console for affected element

WordPress: 6.9

Theme: X Pro (We use a child theme)

Cornerstone: 7.7.11

I’ve checked the website listed in your Themeco account and reviewed the category page as described, but I’m not able to reproduce or identify the issue at the moment.

To help us investigate this further, could you please share a short screencast video demonstrating the problem? That will help us clearly understand the exact behavior you’re seeing.

Additionally, please provide temporary login credentials for your site via a secure note, including:

– WordPress Site URL & Login URL
– WordPress admin username and password

To create a secure note, click the key icon underneath any of your posts.

I checked your site and couldn’t replicate the issue on my end. Please deactivate all plugins and clear your browser cache, then test again. If the problem persists, share the exact steps to reproduce it along with a screen recording so we can follow along and debug it properly.
