Bread crumbs will not turn off

I turn off breadcrumbs in the customize menu, save it, but they dont go away.

Hi there,

Please make sure you have updated for X and Cornerstone to the latest version. Once you have updated, please clear your site and browser cache.

Kindly also make sure to make the changes in X > Theme Options > Header > Breadcrumbs.

Everything is up to date, and clearing cache is standard, and has been done, style cache too.
