Booking form not visible

Hi.
We have just moved this site test.blommenhofutbildning.se to blommenhofutbildning.se and we have some problems with the booking form in ME Calendar.

On the old development page: http://test.blommenhofutbildning.se/utbildningar/hlr-forsta-hjalpen/ the booking button and booking form was visible.

But now, when we have moved the site to production the booking button and booking form is not visible: http://blommenhofutbildning.se/events/hlr-forsta-hjalpen/

I have activated the booking form in ME Calendar settings but I cannot get it to work. Can you help me?

Tomas

Hi There,

Please also check that the booking form has been created successfully under Settings > Booking Form:

If it still doesn’t work, please provide us with your credentials of both staging & live sites so we can take a closer look.

Thank you.

Hi Tomas,

Please provide or create same credentials in your staging, I like to compare the setup. I did some testing and no luck, perhaps comparing them will help.

Thanks!

Done. Please log in to test.blommenhofutbildning.se with the same credentials.

Tomas

Hi Tomas,

The login provided doesn’t seem to work.

Kindly check again and let us know.

Thanks

Hi.
Now admin should work for test.blommenhofutbildning.se

Hi Tomas,

I compared the two settings and it seems to be exactly the same.

There could be some data that are still referencing to your test site.

Can you try installing this third party plugin.

Then do a search and replace.

Search for: http://test.blommenhofutbildning.se
Replace with: http://blommenhofutbildning.se

and

Search for: http://test.blommenhofutbildning.se
Replace with: http://blommenhofutbildning.se

Hope that helps

Hi.
Have installed the plugin and done the search and replace. But no changes were made in the database and the booking form is still missing.

Hi There,

Would you mind providing us with your FTP account so we can take a closer look at your files?

Thank you.

Hi Tomas,

Could you try creating another staging of your site (a separate clone of your test site) but this time using All in one migration plugin. Please check this https://wpshout.com/quick-guides/all-in-one-wp-migration/

I already tried all changes and troublehoosting in your live site which basically the same from your staging (unless the configuration and data are corrupted upon migration). I tried downloading your test site but it’s 1gb and taking time to download and then will just freeze/stop.

And the only difference that I can see from your test and live site is PHP version.

Thanks!

Ok. We will try this. But one question - the plugin that you ar refferring to - does that also move the database? Or do we have to handle that separately

Hi Tomas,

Yes, it handle all the process including database and URL replacement automatically. And oh, I forgot that the all in one migration has file size limitation (unless you upgrade) which yes, may not work in your migration since it has 1gb file of size. I recommend other migration service or plugin that can do the same without manually migrating the database.

Migrating database manually is where data corruption happens, but not always.

Thanks!
