not sure why this is but it seems like it has a trigger offset so people arrive at the blog and see nothing until they move their cursor or scroll. Otherwise, it never loads. Not sure what setting this is and I’m hoping for an easy fix here.
Hi Devon,
Thanks for reaching out!
It seems that one of your plugins is causing the issue. I suggest that you do TESTING FOR PLUGIN CONFLICT or DISABLING CACHE.
Hope that helps and let us know how it goes.
we disabled the caching plugin and that fixed it but now we don’t see any blogs when viewed from private mode. it says nothing to show here. No idea what happened. they load now when we visit them as an admin.
Hello Devon,
It looks like that the blog posts are only visible to logged-in users. Do you have any membership or subscription plugins installed? Please do check your plugin settings or at least temporarily deactivate the plugin so we can test it.
Thank you.
ok. so we turned that off and it worked. strange because the setting for the membership plugin is set to not make the blog members only. so a specific setting to do the exact opposite. BUT not we are back to the original problem and no its not being cache on the blog page. they aren’t loading again. help
Hi Devon,
It looked like a permalinks issue, I went ahead and changed your permalinks settings from Custom Structure to Post name via Settings > Permalinks (see screenshot)
This seems to have fixed the issue, please make sure to clear all caches including your browser’s cache to see the changes. Caching plugins are best to turn on only when you’ve finished building the site.
Hope this helps!
