Blogs have disappeared from Blog page after update

Hi guys

My blogs have disappeared from the page I use as my main blog index page. URL is: https://jhpalmer.co.uk/news/

Any idea how to get those back? If I navigate directly to the blog URL it’s still there I just can’t see them on the index page.

Hello Harry,

Thanks for posting in! Please go to X > Theme Options > Ethos and make sure that the post carousel and the post slider is disabled. If it is enabled, please make sure that you display the “Most Commented” or “Random” post items. Selecting “Featured” with no actual feature contents will result to an issue which will also affect the blog index page such as what you are having now. This is a known bug in the latest release which will be resolved in the next update release cycle.

Thanks for your reply! I tried disabling both and that didn’t work. I also tried reenabling post slider and setting it to Random and that didn’t work either.

Are there any other workarounds?

Hello There,

I have logged in and I was able to resolved the issue. There are two post sliders in the settings. One for the blog and the other is for the archives. You only have set the archives and not the blog and that was the cause of the issue. I went ahead and changed the settings. All the blog posts are displaying now.

Really appreciate the fix. The whole interface has changed a bit since I last used it so that would have taken me ages to figure out.

I understand that the GUI did change. We reacted to the comments and requests of the customers. You will need to take time to get used to the new GUI but it will be much easier as soon as you get used to them.
