Hi,
I’m using an Archive page to list some posts from a specific category (Blog category), paged by 6. My problem is that all posts are shown (all categories) even if I specify a Taxonomy in the query builder looper.

Hi @MP_Quadro,
Thanks for reaching out!
You forgot to add the website URL and when I check your themeco dashboard, you have so many website associated in your account. Would you mind sharing your website URL so that we can login and check it?
Cheers!
Hi @MP_Quadro,
I check your Blog Archive and when I set specific category in the Query Builder it will only show the specific posts. That being said, I am not able to replicate your issue. See the example test below.
Thank you.
Hi @marc_a ,
Try to set the taxonomy to “Blog” and see the front end page. The posts with “Blog” term are nine, but in the front end all the articles are shown even if the taxonomy in the query builder is set to “Blog”.
Thank you.
Hi @MP_Quadro,
I have checked the Blog category page and found that it showing as per the assigned Layout. I have also tried by setting the taxonomy to the Blog in the Query Builder and it shows the exact result too. If you are still getting the same issue, please give us the steps to replicate the issue. Please remember while you are using Archive templates, you don’t need to use the Looper Provider explicitly.
Thanks
Hi @tristup,
I found a workaround showing the archive category blog (dev.isomed.it/category/blog). What I was trying to do is showing the archive when the blog page “is been viewed”.
So when I navigate to the blog page (dev.isomed.it/blog) the archive, with query builder set with taxonomy equal to Blog, should have been viewed. Actually the archive Blog is shown but it’s been listing all the posts from all categories, not only the ones with the term “Blog” as I wanted, and setting the query builder with taxonomy equal to Blog changed nothing.
