Hi Nadia,

Did you add a custom code to add some share links on the blog posts?

If so, you might have to edit the custom code so it will only take effect on the single post page and not in the blog page.

Kindly post the custom code here so that we could provide some suggestion.

Hello!

I didn’t add code necessarily- I just added the social media links. I edit my blogs in cornerstone.

Is there a way to hide the “share this post” from the snippet portion (not the blog itself) or is erasing that title the only way to fix it?

Hey Nadia,

Regretfully, no. You will need to choose either 1 of the 3 ways listed below:

  1. Add the Entry Share after your post or in the sidebar.
  2. Use the Manual Excerpt method. See https://www.wpbeginner.com/plugins/how-to-customize-wordpress-excerpts-no-coding-required/
  3. This method is not supported. This only to show you a possibility using custom code. Add this code to your child theme’s functions.php.

Ok no worries, I think it will be easier to erase the title from each blog and just leave the social media links. :slight_smile:
