Blog Single Assignment not working along with Footer not showing up

Hi,

I know how to assign a Single Layout to a Blog post, however it doesn’t appear to be working and seems to be ignored under the condition settings.

I’ve tried a priority of 0,1,-1, as well as All Singular, Post type = “post”. none of it works.

As for the Footer, I also cannot assign it globally, and I’ve never had an issue doing this in the past on previous projects.

Instead I had to go on each page and specify a default footer, which I’ve never had to do historically on Pro Theme.

Here is also a high level of the project setup, quite simple and no plugin conflict either.

Hoping you can find out if I’ve missed a setting on my end or if it’s a bug within the latest version of Pro.

Figured out the issue, turns out wpenginepowered.com domain has been a conflict with the theme. The moment I switched to wpengine.com (legacy network) it seems to be working without issue with the assignments.

Which either signals to me the network caching from wpengine caused issues or there are rules in the theme code that have conflict with wpengine.

Either way, reverting to the legacy network fixed my issue from a development environment sense.
