Blog posts not showing up on iphone

Hi there,

For some reason blog posts aren’t showing up on my iphone.

Thanks for reaching out.

It should be displaying now and it’s due to Autoptimize plugin, clearing its cache fixed it. But I recommend disabling that plugin since it’s a staging site. Any optimization should be applied to production/finished site only. Cache is always opposite of change and you’re applying changes to a staging site.

I just checked on my iphone and I still don’t see it. Can you check on your device? also on the live site. https://www.glassjacobson.com/blog

I deactivated the plugin on both staging and live and it worked. is there a certain script I can exclude in autotomize so that it still shows up? don’t remember htaving this issue before,

Hello Austin,

Even if you exclude the theme JS/CSS file resources, it is not a guarantee that you will not experience the same issue later on. The actual issue is the cache. Most of the time, the cached version gets corrupted or does not reflect the latest updates after you have made some changes to the settings or even after you created a new post. This is why we already recommend to clear the cache every now and then. And keep in mind that caching like Autoptimize plugin is best to turn ON when you are done building the site and ready to go live.
