Blog Posts Not Loading on Renew Template

Howdy~

A few days ago I did all the updates on the site, and it seemed to go well. However today, the client contacted me pointing out that the nav bar color changed back the Renew blue and that her blog posts were not loading on her blog page. The nav bar situation I figured out and changed, however, for the life of me I can not figure out how to get the posts to load. I read on one help discussion to add this to custom CSS:

.x-iso-container>.hentry {
opacity: 1 !important;
}

Which in preview mode, it loads the posts, but when I save and exit out, and go to the blog page, nothing loads again. Any help on this issue would be great. I’ve manually uploaded the X theme through FTP this morning hoping that would correct it, but that didn’t work either.

Here is the blog page to check out:

Hope you guys can figure it out. :slight_smile:
Thanks much!
Tara

Also, quick note on something I also noticed.

I added the css

.x-iso-container>.hentry {
opacity: 1 !important;
}

on the actual blog page css section and it loads the blog! WOOWHO! HOWEVER…(always a catch right?)

All the custom CSS I’ve added in the Custom CSS section do not seem to be applying. The changes show while I’m still in the X options preview page, but once I save and exit, those changes do not show on any browsers.
Can you guys take a look at that and let me know what you think.

Thanks!

Hello There,

Thanks for writing in! You are experiencing this issue because you only update X theme to the latest version yet Cornerstone, an essential plugin to run the X theme is still using version 2.0.1.

Cornerstone 3.2.0 is now available in automatic updates! Please update to this latest version first. This release contains fixes for several issues so be sure to check out the changelog (https://theme.co/changelog/). Please do update to the latest version. After doing the updates, always remember to clear all caches when updating so that the code from the latest release is always in use. This will help you to avoid any potential errors.

Please let us know how it goes.

YAS!!! Thank you @RueNel! That worked perfectly!! Thanks for the suggestion. :slight_smile:

Cheers,
Tara
