Blog Posts not loading after last update

Hi there,

My blog page is only loading one post (sometime does not load any).

The same issue is occurring on this page

All plugins are up to date.

Using X-Theme 9.1.4 and Wordpress 5.8.2

Please advise.

Thanks!

Hi @mobrienj,

Thanks for reaching out.
It might be due to the improper update of the Cornerstone plugin. I would also suggest you follow the below steps while updating to the latest version of the Cornerstone.

  1. Delete the Cornerstone existing one
  2. After deletion please use the link in the dashboard to automatically install the Cornerstone.

Please clear all type cache including the Style Cache from Cornerstone > Settings > System > Clear Style Cache and check in the incognito/private mode of the browser and let us know if that works.

NOTE: Also there is a known issue with the Masonry layout in the latest version of the theme and has already been reported to our issue tracker for further investigation by the development team.

Thanks

Hi Tristup,

I tried removing/re-installing the plugin as well as clearing the cache, however it didn’t resolve the issue.

Is there a potential date set for the next release?

Thanks!

I’m having the same problem my blog posts won’t load: https://www.breakup.expert/blog/

I deleted Cornerstone but it is still loaded, I can’t get any of the builder pages to load, such as Theme Options, Global Blocks etc. I updated to the newest version on my other two sites and they are both working fine.

All plugins are up to date, Pro Version 5.1.4, WordPress 5.8.2

I need help fast, I sent out an email this morning directing people to my blog (it was working then)

When testing plugins for another issue I deactivated Disqus and that is when I noticed my blog was no longer working.

Thanks!

Hello Donna,

Thanks for writing to us.

It seems that it is an issue with plugins conflict, I would suggest you please purge all the cache. I would suggest you follow these steps.

  1. Deactivate the default theme of WordPress and deactivate the Pro theme
  2. Delete the Pro theme
  3. Download the fresh copy of the Pro theme from the Themeco account dashboard
  4. Reinstall the Pro theme

If it doesn’t work, I would suggest you troubleshoot with a few of the common issues before we investigate your settings.

  1. Testing For Theme Related Issue
  2. Testing For Plugin Conflict
  3. Theme Update
  4. Child Theme
  5. Css/Js Customization
  6. Increasing Php Memory Limit
  7. Disabling Cache
  8. Disabling Cdn
  9. Permalinks
  10. Version Compatibility

If it doesn’t work for you I would suggest you, please open a new thread and share your details so that we can check it at our end.

Thanks

Thank you, I fixed it!!!
