Hi,

How can I create a custom blog page in x theme.
I have created custom page in cornerstone, but Once it is assigned to post from setting>reading. All layout has gone and no longer to edit.
I want layout something like below link

not exactly but more closer. Let know how can I achieve this. Thanks

Hi @Sumansahilverma,

Unfortunately, custom grid like that for blog is not yet available. There’s an ongoing development for that feature though. Blog by default is controlled by a template.

Here’s the details of the upcoming feature as describe by our developer.

An alternative for now is to build it using Essential GRID. It is a bundled plugin that comes with the themes. Custom grid options are available.

Thanks for your response Lely, But what about my first question, once i assigned the page to post page from setting>reading. All layout go. how to retain old layout after assigning the page to post page

Hello @Sumansahilverma,

Regretfully you cannot retain the layout of the page that you just assigned as your “Post Page” because WordPress will take over and will dynamically generate the post items of the page. This is also the case even when using the default WordPress editor. Please check this out:
