Blog post looking blank when viewed after adding tags

Hi,

We migrated a website for a client from Squarespace to Wordpress.
While we experienced all of the normal things associated with the migration (i.e. some images not migrating), we also saw that the blog posts that have tags added to them only have the title and excerpt showing up when it’s viewed or previewed. The blogs that have no tags added, however, show the title and the blog text normally.

Any idea why that happens and how to fix it? Thank you all in advanace!

Hello @INcroatia,

I have checked your site and the issue seems to be caused by the permalink setting on your site.

Please go to Settings > Permalink then remove the custom structure you have added. Save the setting then check the page in secure note and notice that the post displays correctly.

Is there a way to “bypass” that, though? Our client would like to have that custom structure shown, hence us adding it.

Thanks for updating the thread.

I checked the website and looks like the permalinks is not the default plain structure. Regarding the custom structure that was there showing Day and name of the post and in the testing problem is coming because of the custom permalinks which my colleague narrowed down, I would suggest you to use Post Name structure. I have tested that and it’s working fine.
