Blog Post Layout using Cornerstone

I want to create a blog post with several rows containing two columns each. I wanted each row to have text and an image side by side. Unfortunately, no matter what I have tried I cannot get the the image to be side by side with the text.

There is a faint dashed line that moves with my cursor and controls the columns with. While controlling the dashed line I can get the text and image side by side, but when I move my cursor the image no longer remains side by side.

I used to use code to embed an image to the right or left of text, but that does not seem to work any longer consistently.

Can you help me to get text side by side with an image?

Gerald

Hi Gerald,

Thanks for reaching out.
I have checked the website listed in your Themeco Account but was unable to recognize the issue you described here. I would suggest you share the website URL along with the screenshot marked with the issue which helps us to recognize your points.

Thanks

Thank you Tristup,

My website is Sabacon.net, but the blog post I am speaking about is in draft mode and has the not been published yet. The post I am working on is "Why is Strategic Planning Necessary? I am using WordPress 5.8.2 and I believe X 8.3.3.

Hello Gerald,

You are using Cornerstone 6.1.4 with an older X theme 8.3.3 which is not compatible. Please have your X theme updated to the latest version which is 9.1.4. You may also need to check this documentation to make sure that everything is up to date as well:

Kindly let us know how it goes.

@ruenel Thanks so much. I must continually make sure everything is up to date.

You are most welcome @Sabacon.
