Blog post data replaced with {{yield}}

Setup:
Website and page with the problem: http://www.martycohenphotography.com/blog/
Wordpress 4.9.1
X Theme 5.2.5
Cornerstone 2.1.7
Slider Revolution 5.4.6.3.1

Problem:
On the Blog Page, there are 2 posts that are only showing:
{{yield}}
{{yield}}
{{yield}}
instead of what should be there (see attached screen capture).
They are both missing text fields and the top one is missing an image and the bottom one a slider revolution.
If you navigate to each of those individual blog post pages, all the information is present and intact.

There are other, similar posts that are still showing images or sliders.

I’ve tried deactivating all the plugins except Cornerstone and that did not fix the problem.
I’ve searched apex and did not find a solution.

Thank you for your help.
Marty

Hey Marty,

Thanks for writing in! Since you have installed a caching plugin WP Fastest Cache, please clear your plugin cache before testing your site. This can cause the changes to not take place on the front end. It will eventually show up when the cache regenerates, but it’s not ideal if you’re looking to see your changes immediately. Caching plugins are best to turn on only when you’ve finished building the site.

If nothing is showing, please provide us access to the site so that we can investigate further.

Thank you in advance.

Access info added as a secure note. I had cleared all the caches multiple times as I was trying to figure out what was going wrong. But the information for those 2 posts never returned.
Thanks for your help with this.
Marty

Hi Marty,

Can you create a staging site then on that staging site deactivate all plugins and leave only Cornerstone active.

That way we can investigate and test without breaking or touching your live site.

You can use this thrid party plugin to create your staging site.

Thanks

Staging site created in sub-directory “staging” with only Cornerstone active.

Hi there,

I can’t reproduce this on any of my installation, plus this {{yield}} is a javascript placeholder for Ember library and shouldn’t be there. Shortcodes are processed through PHP and not by javascript.

Would you mind providing your FTP login credentials as well?

As a temporary solution, please add your excerpt manually to your posts built from cornerstone. You can add your plain text excerpt through this box under your post editor.

Thanks!

Ftp info in secure note.

Hello There,

I was able to logged in and investigate the issue. I did not find any problems both in the staging and main site. So I went ahead in the main site and deactivated the WP Autoptimize and WP Fastest Cache. When I refresh the page to view the site, this is what I an seeing:

And this is when I notticed that you were using CloudFlare. Please log in to your cloudflare account and purge your site. For best results, use the recommend CloudFlare settings which you can find it here: https://xthemetips.com/using-cloudflare-rocket-loader-with-x-pro-and-x5/928/

If nothing is helping, please provide the login to your CloudFlare as well so that we can sync the cache and play around the settings.

Hope this helps. Please let us know how it goes.

I have been purging Cloudflare all files while I was testing. But I’ll need to wait until I get back to my studio to send you cloudflare credentials… for security they email me with a code if logging in from a different IP address. So I’ll need to get that code to you right after you’ve logged in and I can’t be that available while traveling. I’ll be back at studio on 1/3/18.
Marty

Hi Marty,

Please let us know when you are back and ready.

Happy holidays! :slight_smile:

I’m back but have flu so not able to work on this until next week.

I want you to know that today so far there have been 4 or 5 failed login attempts using the login I provided you for my site. This concerns me about your security.
Marty

Hey Marty,

That should be one of our staff as we are still resolving your issues. At the moment, so far there are no errors in your WP dashboard. It could be coming from the site cache store in CloudFlare. If we could access your CloudFlare account so that we can check your settings and sync your cache that would be helpful in resolving your issue.

Thank you for your understanding.

Cloudflare login sent in secure note

Hi there,

Please let us know the CF access code, I can’t continue logging in due to that restriction. For the meantime, I’ll continue checking your site about this issue, it could be related to transient since it displays the classic sections.

Thanks!

I already sent it in secure message but here it is 1384965

Hey There,

We have tried to login using the given details. It is not accepting the login notifications because it is only restricted to certain IPs.

Could you please disable the login authentication so that we can log in, check your CloudFlare settings and finally resolve this issue?

Kindly let us know.

I turned authentication off. Sorry for the hassle. Thanks for your help!

Hey There,

It is still asking for a login authentication.
Please double check if you have deactivated it already or not.

Thanks.

They have a setting called “Essentially Off” which I did switch to 5 hours ago. But the setting to turn it off completely is not available to me at my level of account. The only way we can handle this is for you to try again and I will continually monitor my email for the access code and send it to you here hopefully before it times out. I am in US pacific time so it will need to be done in the next 3 hours today. Unless you have another suggestion.

Hi there,

To make sure that the problem is caused by the CloudFlare, I suggest that you temporarily change your DNS server names and avoid using the CloudFlare altogether. That way We will understand if the CloudFlare is causing the issue or not.

Unfortunately, the way you have mentioned in the code to be able to log in is not possible as there are different support staff checking the case and it might be not in your time zone.

Thank you.
