Blog link being highlighted while on the faq page

hello, we created a layout for faq cutom post type archive and one layout for blog archive.

when visiting the faq archive, on header blog gets active for some reason.

can you help?

Thanks for reaching out.
I have checked the Header and found the problem you described, you need to disable the Ancestors option under the Navigation Inline > Menu > Active Links as shown in the given screenshot.

But another problem has been found during the investigation, that the FAQ menu is not active when the page is active. Further investigation shows that the current-menu-item class is not applicable while the FAQ page is active. There might be some different reasons behind this problem, I would like to suggest troubleshooting the following common issue to help us to recognize the reason.

1. Theme Related Issue

3. Theme Update related issue
4. Child Theme Related issue
5. CSS/JS Customization
6. Disabling Cache
7. Disabling CDN

If none of the above help, please copy your live site to a staging server so we could troubleshoot freely without breaking your live site.
