Im having an issue with the blog post page, I chose a page as the post page but I cant change the way the page layout is for example - I want 2 columns plus a side bar but ita not working and how can I edit the blog page with cornerstone? This seems to be not available.

To make blog page 2 columns, please go to Theme Options > Blog. Under Style choose Masonry and under Columns choose Two.
To show a sidebar, on Theme Options > Layout and Design > Content layout: Choose Content with Sidebar. Then from above screenshot the settings Layout > Use Global Content Layout will give you a sidebar.
Blog page is controlled by a template thus cannot be edited by using Cornerstone.
